If Thrash Metal was chocolate and Hardcore Punk was peanut butter then the mid 80’s sub-genre Crossover was Reese’s peanut butter cups. DRI, Corrosion of Conformity, Agnostic Front & Suicidal Tendencies are heralded as masters of the sound and each put out classic albums in the mid ’80’s. One band rarely mentioned among these titans is San Francisco’s Attitude Adjustment who’s 1986 debut is as powerful and kick ass as anything released by their better known contemporaries. We revisit the lost gem and pay our respects.
