Put Black Sabbath, Hawkwind, the Alice Cooper Band and the Beatles into a blender, sprinkle in some 70’s horror flicks and you’ll get close to Uncle Acid & the Deadbeats. They took the best elements of all of these influences and channeled through vintage gear and have made four consecutive, pretty perfect records. That run started with 2011’s Blood Lust, a record that was new to Rod and Glenn and Mike couldn’t wait to hear their reactions to these distortion drenched throwback masters.
